Molenbeek twice recognised with a badge of honour by the king.

Both Ibrahim Ouassari of MolenGeek and Loredana Marchi of Foyer ngo received the honorary decoration of Commander, the former in the Order of Leopold, the latter in the Order of the Crown.
Loredana Marchi sees this recognition primarily as recognition for Foyer and similar civil society initiatives.
