It is absolutely not Foyer’s habit to interfere in politics and we will remain true to that habit. Nevertheless, we would urge that calm would return to the administration of the municipality. Evidently, one may and should voice opposition if one belongs to the opposition, but personal attacks ‘ad hominem’ are best left out. And six months is a normal period to shuffle the cards in the face of new elections, if one wants to change things. Furthermore, it is also appropriate that at the head of an administration is a chief executive. Again, outsiders do not really understand why a reasonable solution cannot be found for this.

Molenbeek has enough challenges. Can we count on those elected to take responsibility and think first and foremost about what is good for citizens?
