According to figures from the Belgian Institute for Statistics and Analysis, the following 10 non-Belgian nationalities are the ones that most represent non-Belgians in Brussels in 2023:

1.French: 69,984; 2. Romanians: 46,572; 3. Italians: 35,929; 4. Moroccans: 33,654; 5. Spaniards: 31,569; 6. Poles: 19,298; 7. Portuguese: 19,044; 8. Bulgarians: 13,314; 9. Ukrainians: 12,673; 10. Germans: 11,248.

The true accretion underway in Brussels over time indicates Europeanisation, not non-European accretion.
