Foyer believes strongly in projects that help us build bridges. We are therefore very proud to be developing this project together with police officers from zpz BruWest.
In this project, various services engage in dialogue with police officers to get to know and understand each other better. Mutual understanding is the foundation of good relationships based on trust.
‘Growing old in your neighbourhood’ is a series of multilingual information sessions aimed at socially vulnerable elderly people, whether or not they have a migrant background, or their informal carers.
Molengems is a vibrant mix that showcases the gems of Molenbeek. In this new project, vzw Foyer and MigratieMuseumMigration present five video podcasts of five people who are doing wonders in the municipality of the colourful windmills.

When vaccination is mentioned, it sometimes provokes resistance, or people are not always well informed about the importance or effectiveness of vaccines.

13 youngsters from Foyer des Jeunes and Jongerenwerking Foyer are taking up their next sporting challenge for a special solidarity project. In 10 days, they will travel from the south of Spain to the north of Morocco. They are not doing this just like that, but in the form of a triathlon while raising money for children and youngsters in Palestine. Like a traditional triathlon, they will complete 3 stages: 200 km of cycling, 50 km of walking and 2 km of swimming.
The MigratieMuseumMigration ran the two-year project ‘Linking EYMID’ (‘European Young Migrant’s Intercultural Dialogue’). The project started in November 2023 and will finish at the end of 2025. Linking EYMID aims to connect people from migrant backgrounds and to engage in dialogue. The project is supported by BIJ (Bureau International Jeunesse) and Erasmus+.
10 youngsters from Jongerenwerking and Foyer des Jeunes went to Jordan for 2 weeks. For 10 days, they exchanged ideas with locals on the theme of upcycling, with the aim of giving new life to old things.
