From 15 to 17 March, the third online meeting took place for the European project “Planting Languages”. Foyer leads this project on supporting young parents with their multilingual education. The materials already developed were evaluated. Reactions from parents and experts were taken into account. We had some fascinating conversations about questions such as: Can parents mix languages? Can we focus on input in the different languages and less on one specific strategy? There were also thoughts about the long-term implementation of the methodology and the involvement of other partners. The materials will be finalised in the next period. I liked the step-by-step plan for parents in the booklet, good animations, not complicated to fill in … actually also suitable as a maternity gift. 

I am very impressed how the reflection booklet has been able to undergo such simplification. Nice drawings too. In this way, the use is also good for less Dutch skilled people.  

I found the information from the videos very interesting, such as listening to the interviews of the parents and their experiences.
