On 13 June, Museum MMM has been awarded the European Heritage Label by the European Commission for the role it plays in the history and culture of Europe and in the formation of the European Union. Here are some images of the visit of European colleagues this morning in museum MMM.

The Commissioner for Innovation, Research, Culture, Education and Youth, Mariya Gabriel, commented: “Cultural heritage is Europe’s soul. These beautiful sites embody our rich history, they are geographical manifestations of who we are. The European Heritage Label sites are among the greatest gifts Europe has to offer and it is our duty to preserve them at all costs.”
