Ligo Brusselleer, the Dutch language institute for adult literacy in Brussels, blows out 30+1 candles this year. In order to celebrate this occasion, Brusselleer wants to look its best, hence the expression sur son 31. A nod to the institute’s ties with the capital in all its diversity and originality.
The exhibition tells the story of 30 students and collaborators through the years in a series of life-size portraits, offering an insight into the institute’s history and activities. A series of artworks created by students in collaboration with Globe Aroma will be on display.
The entire exhibition is tailored to Brusselleer students, with plain (Dutch) language and strong imagery at its core.
