Young Foyer volunteers receive European volunteering certificates after solidarity project in Morocco

15 July 2026

From 30 June to 14 July, 14 young people from Foyer took part in a solidarity project in Morocco, combining volunteering, exchange and collective engagement.

During their two-week stay, the young volunteers contributed to several local initiatives, supporting an orphanage, a care home and a school. Through their involvement, they shared their time and energy as part of a project focused on solidarity and exchange.

Organised in collaboration with a Flemish partner organisation, this experience offered the young people the opportunity to take on responsibilities, work together and engage with different realities.

During their stay, the 14 young people received their European Certificate of Volunteering, recognising their commitment and involvement throughout the project.

For Foyer, this project highlights the importance of creating opportunities where young people can engage, develop new experiences and strengthen their participation in society.
