Visit judges

9 March 2026

On Wednesday 4 March, a delegation of judges from the Dutch-speaking court of first instance in Brussels visited Foyer and the Migration Museum. After a discussion and tour of the museum, a meeting took place with residents and young people from Molenbeek. The aim was to talk about the prevailing perception of justice and the judiciary. We also wanted to demystify the profession of judge and encourage young people to consider a career in justice when choosing their profession.

Judges form the basis for a just and equal society. One of Foyer’s core values is building bridges. This meeting enabled us to create more empathy between people. For us, it was therefore a great success.

We would like to thank the judges of the Dutch-speaking Court of First Instance in Brussels and their president for their efforts!
