Study Day PIM

Friday, February 21, was Mother Language Day!
Vrijdag 21 februari was het Thuistalendag! 
To celebrate this day, along with the fact that PIM has been offering language analysis in collaboration with the Intercultural Mediation service for 10 years, we organised a study day. 
The central theme was understanding language difficulties in children.
In the morning, our colleagues and Dr Sharon Unsworth gave several interesting lectures. After a delicious lunch prepared by Dar Al Amal, the participants put their heads together. By discussing cases together, they were able to exchange their expertise.
The conclusion of the day? Home languages are incredibly important and language problems do not always have their origin in a language disorder.
