Recap – international day against racism

On Saturday 21 March, different activities were organised across Molenbeek to mark the International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination.
On the town square, you could meet representatives from various organisations. We all gathered at the Beursplein to enjoy a cup of tea together! A highlight of the day was the unveiling of the mosaic on Mexicoplein. A few months ago, local residents brought a similar mosaic to Bruges, were you can see it at the station. With the installation of this one in Molenbeek, the two towns are now connected in a meaningful way.
