Publication – Don’t call it taboo

The end of life is the most universal human experience. Yet it often remains shrouded in silence, especially when cultural and philosophical differences come into play. The Intercultural Mediation Service of Foyer vzw and Amfora vzw published a booklet on this theme entitled “Don’t call it taboo” (Noem het geen taboo). In this booklet, care workers give personal testimonies about palliative care.

‘Don’t call it taboo’ aims to serve as a starting point for developing practical tools. We want to further develop the theme and break the silence surrounding the end of life. The insights and testimonies of the experts form a good basis for further steps and new forms of cooperation.
