1 October 2026
On Saturday 26 September, the MigratieMuseumMigration hosted a guided visit focusing on women’s migration, as part of the Journées du Matrimoine 2026.
The visit was led by Loredana Marchi, Director of Foyer, and Imane Zinbi. Participants discovered the stories of women who left their countries of origin and explored different aspects of their migration experiences.
Through photographs and symbolic objects, the visit highlighted different migration stories and the challenges women encountered along their migratory journeys.
The French-language visit was offered by L’architecture qui dégenre as part of the Journées du Matrimoine programme, which highlights the stories and experiences of women and gender minorities in Brussels.
