International Roma Day: Part 2

To celebrate International Roma Day today, the Roma & Travellers Service organised an exciting day for their partners.
In the morning, they could learn about the daily operations and different facets of the service through a presentation by all colleagues.
During lunch, there was time to socialise with each other!
In the afternoon, they are holding a conference: “Roma on the move – 10 years of evolution”. 10 years ago, Foyer vzw published the book “Roma on the move”. This was a reflection of 10 years of field experience and additional research within the various Roma communities in Brussels. Since then, the service has observed many evolutions, which it highlights during the conference.
