Greener canal zone march

A short march took place along the canal in Molenbeek on Saturday 8 June, organised by local residents, associations and various collectives. Participants walked from Sainctelette Square to a vacant lot on Henegouwenkaai. ‘With this action, we want to advocate for a greener and more liveable canal area,’ says Vincent Van Hoof, one of the organisers. ‘More benches, more space for pedestrians and cyclists, and above all: more safety.’ (Source: BRUZZ)
