Book Presentation – Johan Leman

To mark the International Day against Racism, the book launch of Prof. em. Johan Leman’s Memoirs on Integration Policy 1989-2003 will take place Friday March 21 2025 in the MigratieMuseumMigration.
The event will begin with an exposition by the author, in both French and Dutch, of the main findings on policy in the period 1989-2003, as he experienced it. This introduction will be followed by an open debate in the form of Q&A, also in French and Dutch.
The book (only available in Dutch at the moment) is published by Foyer vzw, has 186 pages and is available at the museum for €10.

About Johan Leman: Former Head of Cabinet of the Royal Commissariat for Migrant Policy and former Director of the Centre for Equal Opportunities and Opposition to Racism. Johan Leman is an expert on integration policy and the fight against racism, and also taught on this subject as Prof in Social and Cultural Anthropology at KU Leuven.
