2025 Activity Report: Foyer continues to build connections, inclusion and participation

24 July 2026

What does it mean to build bridges between people, communities and institutions every day? Foyer’s 2025 Activity Report looks back on a year in which connection, inclusion and social participation remained at the heart of our work.

Every day, Foyer supports people facing barriers in education, healthcare, employment, parenting and participation in society. Through its different teams, each with its own area of expertise, Foyer shares one common mission: empowering people and contributing to a society where everyone has the opportunity to participate fully.

Throughout 2025, this mission took shape in many different ways. Young people engaged in international solidarity projects and dialogue with new partners. Families and schools received support around multilingualism and language development. Intercultural mediators helped thousands of people access healthcare and social services. Roma families and Travellers received guidance towards education, training and employment. Together, these initiatives show how Foyer continues to invest in inclusion, equal opportunities and stronger communities.

For Foyer, diversity and multilingualism are not challenges to overcome but strengths that have shaped the organisation for many years. Working alongside numerous partners, Foyer continues to promote mutual understanding, cooperation and active participation.

Over the coming weeks, we will share some of the stories behind our 2025 Activity Report. Among others, we will highlight the impact of intercultural mediation in healthcare and social services and the ways Foyer supports families, children and schools in a multilingual society.

This article is the first in that series and offers an introduction to Foyer’s work in 2025.
