Women Tribunal – Dar Al Amal

The first edition of the Women’s Tribunal took place in Brussels in 1976. On Friday, the 50th edition was held in Antwerp, and Dar Al Amal was there! The Women’s Tribunal celebrates women, but also reminds us that we must continue to fight for women’s rights.
We started the day with the performance ‘Mijn Stem’ by 2026women. After a delicious lunch, some women took part in the yoga and self-defence sessions. Others joined creative workshops such as weaving, making slogan boards and designing a collective banner. Before we ended the day with a musical interlude, we enjoyed a performance by the women of Persephone vzw.
It was a fantastic and moving day that we will look back on with fond memories!
