This exhibition at the MigratieMuseumMigration explores the migration story behind Brussels’ record number of entrepreneurs. It features first- and second-generation immigrant entrepreneurs and entrepreneurs whose product has become part of our collective memory. People who energised a street, neighbourhood, city, region by creating jobs. “Brussels Migrant Entrepreneurship” shows how immigrant businesses truly shaped Brussels.
The exhibition was created in collaboration with: Dr P Jean-Philippe Van Aelbrouck, Dr Olivier De Maret, Dr Martin Rosenfeld and Claire Scohier (IEB), Henri Erumba, Dr Ching Lin Pang and Franck Yiji, Zenon Lupina, Mustafa Alperen Özdemir, and others. Many thanks also to all the entrepreneurs and associations who participated.
