“The annual averages from ExpAIR in Brussels are in! And, as expected, they are not good… Out of the 24 measuring points, four exceed the European threshold of 40 µg/m³. These are located at Avenue Louise (51 µg/m³), Porte de Flandre (46 µg/m³), Sainctelette (40 µg/m³), and Rue Piers in Molenbeek (46 µg/m³). Furthermore, all 24 measuring points exceed the new European limit of 20 µg/m³, which will come into force by the end of 2024. The World Health Organization (WHO) guideline of 10 µg/m³ is not met anywhere.” (ExpAIR)
